I don’t really know who Miss Dot was, and I googled, but so can you, so I’ll just get down to the basics.

One of my sisters shared this in our “sisters” messenger group on Fakebook this morning.

Now bear in mind there are three of us in this group.

The one sharing, we’ll call her MiP for today.  Mip for short.  LOL

Her family is the last of natural and steps that I can still say has no dietary restrictions.  However, based on the ingredients, I’d say too much of this and someone’s GOING to have health problems sooner than later in that household.

This morning she pops into the group ….

Son & I made Ms Dot’s Pound cake yesterday. 
It seems like a 2#Cake I know neither one of u will eat but, it is awesome.  Jenn u may want to post on ur blog.  Got from Hometown site.
3 C Sugar
3 C Flour
6 Eggs
1 Tbs Vanilla
1/2 Tsp Salt
3 Sticks butter
1 pkg Cream Cheese
All items room temperature mix well
Bake in cold oven at 300* for 90 minutes

There’s one curious thing about the recipe I can’t recall ever seeing before.  Though I know what they mean, at face value, it could really be confusing to some:

Bake in cold oven at 300* for 90 minutes

The super analytical mind would want to know know you can bake cold and yet with a heat of 300 at the same time.

Sorry, just throwing that in to mess with your mind a little.   LOL
